This program really helped improve reading for our students and having the families really engaged in their student’s education and/or reading.
Students could see that you could search and explore so many books. They only have so many hard-copies at home (extensive or none) so it is a great resource for access to the digital library. Kids were reading 1 book a day with the reading log, but some kids are reading 10 different books a day with Epic.
I have enjoyed having the online library available for students as many of my families do not have books of their own in their homes. I also love that students receive several of their own books throughout the year to build up their home libraries.
I think the story times have been fabulous and I love that families have the opportunity to share in that.
