A collaboration between Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream, Children’s Discovery Museum and the San José Public Library Foundation, to promote the importance of reading.

Meet Mychal the Librarian, Rebbie Rye, MISTER G, and more!

Mychal Threets, also known as “Mychal the Librarian,” is an award-winning librarian, author, and mental health advocate. He’s known for his motivational videos on TikTok and Instagram about his love of reading and libraries. He’s also the host of the revived children’s program Reading Rainbow and PBS’s resident librarian.

Special musical performances from MISTER G and Rebbie Rye and mascot appearances by Sharkie (San Jose Sharks), Q (Earthquakes), Potter the Otter (First5) and Children’s Discovery Museum’s own mascot Roofus the Duck!
