Brae-Lyn’s Story

In the 2024-25 school year, Kristi Yamaguchi’s Always Dream brought our Always Reading program to Waiʻanae Elementary, where we met a kindergartener named Brae-Lyn. Brae-Lynʻs mom, teacher, and Book Coach share how the Always Reading program sparked a love of reading, brought their family closer together, and transformed Brae-Lyn’s learning journey. With a digital library and dedicated support, the program helps families build strong reading habits at home.
